Blair and Braxton will never have the long lives every kitten deserves. But they still have a chance to know what it means to have a home. Just kittens—we don’t know how long they have. A year? Maybe two? Maybe longer. With feline leukemia (FeLV), their futures are uncertain. But they don’t know that. They only know they want to be loved.
Three of their littermates (also FeLV+) got a miracle: a wonderful permanent foster family opened their hearts and welcomed them home. Now those three babies have people to wake up with every morning, cuddle with, and to call their own. And Blair and Braxton are still waiting.
Because FeLV can be transmitted to other cats, these two babies can’t go to a home with cats who don’t have FeLV.
So they remain in the same small bedroom where they’ve spent their ENTIRE lives. And we can’t stop thinking: What if their whole lives pass in that room? What if they never get to know the simple, ordinary things that make a cat’s life a beautiful one?
We can’t promise Blair and Braxton a long life. But we can try to give them a better life for whatever time they have. And that’s why we’re asking for something extraordinary
❤️ We need a foster home in the Columbus, OH, area willing to open its heart to BOTH Blair and Braxton. Someone who can give them love and the chance to experience life outside a bedroom.
PetPromise will cover ALL their medical care. We just need someone willing to give these babies something they may never experience otherwise: a home and a family. We know that loving an animal whose future is uncertain can be frightening. The goodbye may come sooner than we want. But the possibility of heartbreak doesn’t make the love any less meaningful.
For Blair and Braxton, those days of being loved could mean everything. Please don’t let their entire lives be spent waiting for someone to choose them.
