UPDATE: Mr. Beanie has been found! Thank you for keeping an eye out.

**IMPORTANT MESSAGE**

MISSING CHIWEENIE!!

Mr.Beanie was spooked on his walk. So far, there are no sightings of him!! Please be on the lookout for him! If you see him, please contact his owner at (615) -306-9107 or the rescue at (936)-419-1016.

He is missing in Sylvania, OH

Please get the word out about this sweet baby so he can be reunited with his family!!

We have made some insulated waterers for the stray cats. Each waterer is made out of a styrofoam box, straw, duct tape, foil, wrap and comes with a ping pong ball. Because cats are not the biggest fan on foil, we covered one side with wrap and the top. May not be the prettiest thing but will help prevent water from freezing! 🤣 We are asking for donations for each waterer to be able to make more. If you are unable to donate, we will still give you one as our main goal is to help as many animals as possible. 🐾

Hello T2R fam!! We have a few things:

Next week Columbus will be COLD. With that being said, we have worked hard to find more cat shelters. We will have 10 styrofoam houses available this weekend for anyone wanting to shelter stray cats. We are accepting donations for each house to be able to make more, but if you are unable to donate, we will still give you one!! Our main goal is to help as many cats as possible.

If you would like to make your own cat house, please note a few important notes:

-No bedding inside the shelter such as blankets, clothes, etc. as these items retain moisture and will freeze, possibly causing the cat to freeze
-Straw is the best insulator. Do not use hay as hay breaks down easier and molds
-Styrofoam and storage totes are great materials to use for a cat house
-As long as their heads can fit through the hole, their bodies can fit also

**If you know of any homeless people with pets, please reach out with a location for us to try to find them to help with materials that will help during this freezing weather**

Hello Tika To The ResQ family! We have had numerous individuals reach out to us regarding supplies for their pets. We are waiting on a few bags of food to be delivered but we could use your help! We are in desperate need of:

-dog food (any size, any brand, wet or dry)
-cat food (any size, any brand, wet or dry)
-blankets/ towels
-animal clothing such as coats and jackets
-pet bedding
-cat litter

Due to liability, we are unable to collect opened bags of food to distribute to our community. But, if you would like to still donate them, they will be taken to a local shelter to feed to their current residents.

Thank you everyone for your continued support and generosity. Together, we can help one paw at a time. 🐾

We are so thankful for our community for donations! So far we have been able to build 7 stray cat houses and should have more by this weekend! (don’t worry, the holes are bigger than they appear in the picture) These houses are being passed out to individuals in the community that have noticed stray cats by their home. We are still collecting donations if anybody else would like to help! Things we are hoping for include styrofoam, styrofoam boxes, duct tape, totes, and straw. 🐾

Welcome to Tika To The ResQ. We are happy to have you here! With us being new, we thought we would talk about ourselves. We rescued our doberman Tika from Houston, Texas in February 2024 (hence where we got the name). From working in the animal medical field, we realized how many animals were in need. Tika To The ResQ was created to help individuals who are in financial hardships with food and supplies for their pets. By doing so, we hope there are more adoptions and less abandonment. With the help of donations and volunteers, I think we can make this dream a reality. We would love it if you could like and follow our page to keep up with information. 😊 Thanks for supporting us ! 🐾
