Update: Christopher has found his home!!

It’s Christopher! He is a one-year-old neutered male Bengal cat. He is so loving and basically obsessed with people. Literally any and all people. Can’t get enough of us.

Unfortunately his previous owner, who bought him from a breeder, ended up pawning him off on a relative who then dumped him at Petsmart. He was too much to handle for them, partly because he wasn’t neutered and partly because they did not understand the specific needs of a bengal cat. (By the way, pet stores are not the place to take unwanted animals. Contact a rescue and get on their waitlist instead.)

Christopher needs serious adopters only please. This is a very high-maintenance breed. Bengals, and Christopher in particular, require lots of your time and energy. Lots of affection and playtime dedicated to him every day. It would be great if he had a large indoor space to run and play. (With you!)

He’s not crazy about other cats. That may change over time since he has been neutered, but for now, he needs to be an only cat. He requires all of your attention anyway!

It’s Tomcat Tuesday! So let’s meet W***y Wonka 😻

This dreamboat tomcat is everything you’ve ever wanted, with a little extra drool. He’ll chortle at you all day, and you’ll usually know exactly what he means. He’s independent, so he likes to go off and do his own thing, but his home base is always you. Snuggles are an absolute must.

W***y is FIV+, which makes sense considering his 8 years on the streets of Columbus. He’s got some chronic upper respiratory symptoms but they don’t seem to slow him down much. The occasional wipe of the nose with a tissue will take care of it. When he was first rescued, we named him W***y Wonka because his coat was chocolate brown from malnutrition and the sun. It’s slowly but surely turning back into a beautiful shiny black.

W***y loves everyone and everything, or at least isn’t bothered by them. Other things he’s got going for him:
- Heart of gold
- Face of an angel
- Plays like a kitten
- Headbutts like a champion
- Sounds like a farm animal
- Loves as hard as he breathes
- Cheeks for days
- Eats anything you want to give him
- Loves to be brushed

Bonus:
- Peep the white toes on his hind foot

**ATTN!!! Prince Charming is looking for a special adopter! River is such a lovely young man who is slightly special needs. He loves to be held and sit on laps! River is super playful and will drop, flop & roll in an instant for belly rubs. He has an unusual construct to his nasal passages, therefore, he may need to be on a steroid or an antibiotic occasionally. River will be ONE on Sunday!! He LOVES other cats and is featured at PetSmart Easton where he may be hiding under his blanket but he loves attention!

Hey there, awesome friends! We have recently welcomed this gem into our rescue. Say hello to our gentle giant, ⭐️BEEFCAKE!⭐️ This sweet boy loves human attention & will shower you with hugs, kisses & snuggles. His favorite activity is barrel rolling for belly rubs! ….oh & catnip!
Beefcake comes to us after he & his buddy were tossed outside when his previous human moved. His buddy was unfortunately hit by a car & the wonderful neighbors have been caring for Beefcake since. They decided that he deserves better than the parking lot life & reached out.
Beefcake is 3 years old, neutered, FIV neg, utd in shots & microchipped. He is available for adoption and would love to meet you at PetSmart Easton today!

🌟 Us Looking for Volunteers in 2024 🌟

We need your help! We are looking for daily volunteers to take care of our adoptable cats at Petsmart Hilliard at Westpointe Plaza. They need food, water, litter, and a little love every day, whatever day works for you! We have three cages at this location so it usually will only take an hour or less of your time a week. Let us know if you’re interested in helping us help cats!

Is our longest foster who has been back & forth between PetSmart Easton and PetSmart Hilliard MULTIPLE times. She’s had enough of this life.

This sweet girl is a one year old brown tabby who was surrendered out of a domestic violence situation. Her owner could not get out without knowing she (and her kittens) were safe first. Sushi is super vocal and would love to hang out with you all day. She is such a sweetheart considering her traumatic past. Because of this, she is not too crazy about other cats, which makes sense considering what she’s been through.
Sushi has so much love to give!! Let’s find this young lil teddy bear a home for the holidays! She deserves it!

Let’s talk about two of our adorable adults, Scarlet and Sushi!

Scarlet was dumped at Petsmart Easton a few weeks ago recently postpartum and with an adult male cat… possibly her brother, possibly the sire, probably both. We have no way of knowing where her kittens are but at least we have her! And she will never have to worry about having kittens again. Scarlet is estimated to be around 2 years old. She’s still playful and loves to carry toys around.

Sushi, a one year old brown tabby, was surrendered out of a domestic violence situation. Her owner could not get out without knowing that she (and her kittens) were safe first. Sushi is very vocal and she’ll hang out with you all day. We think she looks like a teddy bear!

Both of these girls are impossibly sweet, considering their past that’s pretty amazing. Neither one is crazy about other cats, which makes sense when you also think about what they’ve been through. Both of these lovely girls have so much affection to give and just need one chance to be a part of your family.

Scarlet is currently at Petsmart Westpointe and Sushi is at Petsmart Easton.
