Oh my heart, still so beautiful at 9 years of age. 💕 Multi group winning, multi group placing, National Specialty BISS MBISSOH SHR GCHS Skywatcher’s Busy Bein’ Fabulous JH DJ RATI WCX UWCX… Tina, my Sweet T, what a ride we have had together and now we break out into the Veterans world. Time to post! We had a great week at our CCRCA National Specialty last week! Baby Ruth, GCH Tephra Dark Reflections @ Skywatcher WC, who is no longer a baby, was Best of Opposite S*x 3 out of 4 days in a tremendous lineup at the shows she was entered in and Best of Breed Owner Handled 2 of those days. On our last day she won Best of Opposite and Best of Breed Owner Handled at the supported Northern California Curly-Coated Retriever Club Specialty entry of 42 Curlies and went on to a tremendous Owner Handled Best In Show! 🏆 This is her first year as a Special at the National Specialty and she picked up an amazing Award of Merit out of an entry of 82 Curlies! She also won her WCXQ Upland Gun Dog Sweeps class. Tina, BISS MBISSOH SHR GCHS Skywatcher’s Busy Bein’ Fabulous JH DJ RATI WCX UWCX was 2nd in her Veteran Sweeps class, 2nd in her regular Veteran class and Best In Veteran Sweeps at the NCCCR Club Specialty! She was also second in her Junior Hunter GunDog Sweeps class. In the field Tina picked up another WC, and Coosa and Kate picked up WC, WCX and Upland passes. Ruthie couldn’t participate because she was in heat, ugh! So proud of my Skywatcher gang! 😉💕⭐️Tina also won the CCRCA Titan Owner Handled Memorial Award for 2019 and 2020,and is currently the top winning Curly of all time in the National Owner Handled Series!

How cool!! During her unexpected retirement year in 2020 Tina won the CCRCA Top Owner Handled Dog of the Year again! She won it in 2017, which was the first year the Club awarded the OH Titan Trophy, and in 2019 but we didn’t have a Specialty in 2020 so she picked up 2 award certificates this week. She has held the record for the Top winning Lifetime Owner Handled Curly since 2014, with almost 4500 points in the NOHS Series.🏆 She did great this year as a Veteran during our Specialty week, picking up a Best Veteran in Sweepstakes at the Northern California Curly-Coated Retriever Club Specialty on Saturday, and at the Nationals she picked up a nice 2nd in her regular Veterans class, 2nd in Veteran Sweeps and a 2nd in Junior Hunter GunDog Sweeps. At 9 years of age she’s still got it! ❤️🏆

Wow, our new upcoming star at Skywatcher! Multiple Group placing, MBISOH, RBISOH GCH Tephra Dark Reflections @ Skywatcher. At just 2 1/2 years of age, with limited showing as a Special since September 2020, she has won 4 Sporting Group placements, 12 Owner Handled Group placements, 5 Owner Handled Group wins, 2 back to back Owner Handled Best In Show and a Reserve Owner Handled Best In Show. She is also consistently making cuts in hugely competitive Sporting Groups. Coming in as the #1 bitch in Breed, #1 Owner Handled Curly, #3 Breed and #3 All Breed Canine Chronicle stats for 2021... Can’t wait to see what the future holds for our Baby Ruth! 🏆

New Grand Champion Ruthie! GCH Tephra Dark Reflections @ Skywatcher, at just 2 1/2 years of age our new upcoming star. Finishing her Grand in “grand” style by winning Best of Breed out of a stunning lineup of 10 Curlies at the Tallahassee dog show cluster. She then went on to an awesome Group 4 placement out of the top dogs in the country...Many thanks to Judge Mr. Dana Cline again for this tremendous win for our young girl! She is just getting started this year... 🏆 Many thanks to Tephra Curlies for letting us welcome Baby Ruth to the Skywatcher family!

Finally getting around to one of our last big brags of 2019... Tina won the Birmingham Kennel Club Owner Handled Dog of the Year, BKC AKC National Owner Handled Series Dog of the Year and the BKC Conformation Dog of the Year. We had our BKC virtual Awards Ceremony a few months ago, but I was waiting to do photos until she came back into coat. 😉 We have had so much fun and success in the ring over the years, and last year was one of the best, with 4 Sporting Group wins, 12 Group placements, her second National Specialty Select and multiple OH wins, placements, OHRBIS and OHBIS. Plus we just missed her Gold GCH by 70 points...BISS MBISSOH MBISOH MRBISOH SHR GCHS Skywatcher’s Busy Bein’ Fabulous JH DJ RATI WCX UWCX. Truly my Fabulous girl! 🥰
