🐱 Community Cat Caretakers - We Need Your Help! 🐱
One of the biggest challenges with community cats is that it's hard to know where the need is until someone reaches out.
We know there are a lot of people in our community caring for feral and outdoor cats—feeding them, trapping them, keeping an eye on new kittens, and doing their best to keep the population under control.
If that's you, we'd love to hear from you in the comments (or messages):
🐾 About how many cats are in the colony (or colonies) you care for?
✂️ How many still need to be spayed or neutered?
📍 What area are they located in? (A general location is fine.)
We're trying to get a better picture of the community cat population in our area and identify where help is still needed.
No colony is too small or too large. Whether you're caring for 2 cats behind a business or 50 cats on a rural property, we'd love to hear from you.
And if you know someone who cares for community cats but isn't following our page, please tag them or share this post with them!
We currently have grant funding available to help with community cat spay/neuter, and we're looking for ways to make the biggest impact possible.
This post will help us identify areas of need and better support the people doing the hard work of helping community cats in our community. ❤️
