Columbia dog park is reopening! Effective June 2, weather permitting the park will be open Tuesday – Sunday 7am to 3:15pm. (The DogPark Closure Line is (410) 381-0511)

CDP patrons who have the 2020 CDP dog tag for their dog may “reserve” a 45-minute time slot via the SignUp Genius email invitation. Time slots can be reserved up to seven days in advance and remain open until all slots are filled. Learn more:

With the dog park closed, what other locations are you taking your dogs for walks or play? Western Regional Park in Glenwood (about 10 miles from Columbia) is still open for walking the trails. Park at adjacent library and walk in. About 12 miles of paved and wooded paths!

Looks like there are still freezing temperatures in the forecast, so remember to bring your own water when you visit the dog park. Once the last threat of freezing weather passes, the water will be turned back on. Fingers crossed that the weather starts to warm up soon!!!

The ground is still a little wet (so don't wear flip flops like I did 😑), but the weather is gorgeous!!!
