Hey guys- we have a lot of new people on here so I figured I’d re-introduce myself!
My name is Madison I am the owner and operator of The Waggin’ Train.
I have a 2 year old wild mischievous little boy, named Colston.
I have been grooming for about 5 years. I can’t say it’s always been easy, but I can say it’s always been rewarding. I’ve made my fair share of mistakes, and learned quite a few lessons along this journey. Each day there is room for growth.
This year itself has definitely been the hardest, most gut wrenching year thus far:
••Started the year off strong with dr’s discovering my grandmother (who many of you know- use to tag along and help me everyday) had Parkinson’s, Dementia, and had a stroke.
••January 10th- I brought some positive vibes back into things and added my second van to the grooming family.
••The first week of February my grandmother was admitted into the hospital
••March 12th is when the coaster really started rolling as my grandfather was very ill.
••March 20th my 1st van was involved in an accident and burned to the ground.
••April 7th my grandad came home on hospice marked as “power decline”
••April 10th my grandad passed away 💔
••April 12th I’m in the ER- where I’m told I’ve lost the child I was pregnant with, only to leave there after that news and attend my grandfathers visitation.
••end of June- bought a house, during the move my phone got shattered & when I purchased a new one I lost everything 😵💫
••August 6th (while I was on vacation) my grandmother was admitted into the hospital for a stroke
••August 26th- my grandmother got sent back to the hospital
••end of September my little love (2 yr old son) had his first major sickness, that got passed around.
••October 9th- my grandmother got sent back to the hospital.
All of this on top of normal maintenance issues due to running the van and generator so hard, normal life, etc. 😴
I say all of that, to say- No matter what I’ve endured you guys have always been so supportive.
Definitely not an ideal year for running a business, but I’m teary eyed as I write this because im overjoyed with the support from you all. ♥️
Some of you have truly been with me through THICK & THIN and I’m forever grateful.
I’m thankful for all of you that have trusted me to pamper your baby/babies. I value each and every one of you.
Now here we are coming into the holidays, enjoy your time with those you love, but don’t forget the fur babies! 🎃🦃🎄🎅🐾
