🐾 Adoption Announcement: Baxter Has Found His Forever Home! 🐾

Finding the perfect match is what rescue is all about, and we're so excited to share that Baxter has found his forever home with Kiersten! ❤️

Baxter is joining a home where he'll be surrounded by love, patience, and two wonderful canine companions. His new sisters, Lola and Sophie, are both friendly rescue dogs with experience welcoming foster dogs into the family. In fact, Lola especially enjoys having other dogs around and is sure to be an amazing role model and playmate for Baxter.

Kiersten has fostered dogs in the past and has spent years volunteering at animal shelters. She carefully planned for the right time to adopt another dog and knew Baxter would be the perfect addition to her family. Her daily routine revolves around her dogs, with multiple walks each day, trips to the dog park, outdoor adventures, enrichment, and plenty of quality time together. She even comes home during lunch every day so her dogs never have to wait long for a potty break or some extra attention.

What stood out most to us was the dedication she has to the animals in her care. She described her dogs as the center of her life, shared that she believes adoption is a lifelong commitment, and emphasized that providing excellent veterinary care, exercise, enrichment, and companionship has always been a priority.

We’re excited to announce that Gunner has found his forever home with Donna! ❤️

After raising her family and recently retiring, Donna felt the time was finally right to welcome a dog back into her life. She spent several years waiting until she could devote the time, energy, and attention a dog deserves, and knew she was ready for a loyal companion to share this exciting new chapter.

Gunner is heading to a peaceful farm where he'll have plenty of room to explore, stretch his legs, and enjoy the outdoors. He'll be the center of Donna's world, joining her on daily adventures, relaxing by her side at home, and even tagging along on camping trips in her camper. When Donna travels, Gunner will often be right there with her!

Although he'll be the only dog in the home, Gunner will have two feline roommates, Minnie and Molly, and a family that is committed to helping him settle in with patience, love, and positive training. Donna plans to provide him with a wonderful life filled with companionship, daily walks, and endless affection.

🐾 Adoption Announcement: W***y Has Found His Forever Home! 🐾

We're thrilled to share that W***y has officially found his forever family with Tisha and Richard Gill! ❤️

After recently retiring, Tisha knew the time was finally right to welcome another four-legged family member into her life. She shared that she had been looking forward to retirement not only for herself, but so she could devote her time and love to a new best friend.

W***y is joining a wonderful home in Tennessee alongside two friendly canine siblings, Tucker and Baleigh, as well as a cat named Quincy. His new family has years of experience caring for pets, maintains regular veterinary care, and has created a calm, quiet home where W***y can settle in at his own pace.

With daily walks, plenty of outdoor playtime, cozy nights sleeping in the bedroom, and a family that plans to include him in everyday life, W***y is stepping into a future filled with love, companionship, and adventure. His family has thoughtfully prepared for every aspect of pet ownership and is committed to giving him the happy life he deserves.

Some stories come full circle in the most beautiful way, and we're so excited to announce that Cora has found her forever home with Samantha Bussear! ❤️

After recently saying goodbye to her beloved Australian Shepherd, Auggie, who was by her side for over 13 years, Samantha's home felt far too quiet. Though no dog could ever replace him, she knew her heart still had room to give another rescue the love and devotion they deserve.

Cora is joining a peaceful home where she'll be the center of attention. Samantha works from home, meaning Cora will have a constant companion throughout the day. Whether they're playing in the yard, visiting family, or simply relaxing together, Cora will rarely be far from her new best friend. Samantha is even planning to add a fenced yard in the near future so Cora will have even more space to run and play.

She also joins a family of three well-loved cats—Caelum, Shephard, and Fenris—who have all been cherished members of the household for years. Samantha has a long history of caring for her pets through every stage of life, and her application reflected the deep commitment she makes to every animal she welcomes into her family.

🐾 Adoption Announcement: Beth Has Found Her Forever Home! 🐾

Some matches just feel meant to be, and we couldn't be happier to announce that Beth has found her forever family with Beth and Michael Bohler! ❤️

After recently saying goodbye to one of their beloved dogs, Beth and Michael knew their remaining rescue pup, Chloe, was missing her lifelong companion. Having adopted the pair together more than six years ago, they've seen firsthand how special the bond between dogs can be, and they knew it was time to open their hearts to another rescue.

This sweet girl is joining a calm, loving home where she'll have companionship almost all day long. Beth is retired, Michael works from home, and Chloe is looking forward to having a new best friend by her side. Daily walks, plenty of potty breaks, cozy naps on the couch, camping adventures, and lots of love are all part of the life waiting for Beth.

What stood out most about this family is their unwavering commitment to their pets. They shared that their dogs are true members of the family, receiving whatever care they need regardless of the cost. 🐾 Adoption Announcement: Oksana Has Found Her Forever Home! 🐾

Every rescue dog deserves a family who sees them as more than a pet—and we're thrilled to share that Oksana has found exactly that with Andrea and Steve! ❤️

Oksana is joining a home filled with love, experience, and a deep appreciation for the Great Pyrenees breed. Andrea and Steve have shared their lives with rescue dogs before and were ready to open their hearts again after recently saying goodbye to their beloved Great Pyrenees, Finnegan. While losing him left an empty place in their home, they knew they had so much love left to give another deserving dog.

This lucky girl will enjoy a spacious five-foot fenced yard, plenty of time outdoors, daily walks, car rides, toys, and endless affection. Andrea works a hybrid schedule and can even bring Oksana to work on some days, while Steve's schedule allows him to stop home when needed, ensuring she won't spend long stretches alone. Their cat, Elvis, will also be there to welcome the newest member of the family.

What stood out most in their application was the care and thought they put into every aspect of welcoming another dog. They shared that their pets are treated like family, sleep inside the home, receive routine veterinary care and grooming, and are included in everyday life—including vacations whenever possible. They also emphasized that giving up a pet has never been a consideration because they believe animals are family for life.

🐾 Adoption Update: Stella Mae is Settling Right In! 🐾

We recently received the sweetest update on Stella Mae, and it sounds like she has decided that the good life suits her perfectly! ❤️

Stella is settling beautifully into her forever home with Linda and Raymond and showing more of her personality every day. She has turned out to be an incredibly affectionate girl who loves belly rubs and has already claimed a corner of their bed as her sleeping spot. After just two weeks, she even mastered using the doggie door all by herself!

Her days are filled with walks, stuffed toys, attention from her people, and one particularly exciting discovery: Dogsters doggie ice cream. Apparently, Stella Mae is a fan. 😂🍦 She is also doing wonderfully with her house manners—not a single accident!

Of course, Stella has shown them she has a little mischievous side, too. Her family discovered her happily digging in the yard with all four paws covered in mud, which resulted in her very first bath. Needless to say, her unsupervised excavation career was short-lived. 😂

She has also had her first visit with her new veterinarian and received a clean bill of health. Her family has her set up with year-round preventatives and even enrolled her in pet insurance—just a few more signs of how committed they are to giving Stella lifelong care.

Perhaps our favorite part of the update is simply how comfortable she's becoming. She enjoys her walks, relaxes at home when her family is away for a few hours, sleeps beside her people at night, and is already learning the routines of her new life.

These rescue dog adoption updates are exactly what we love to see. At Da Vinci's Dream Animal Rescue, our goal isn't simply to find dogs homes—it's to find them families where they can truly belong.

It certainly looks like Stella Mae found hers. 💕🐾
