Meet the Groomer Monday ✨️ ✂️

Hello, my name is Heather. Everyone started calling me "Boss Heather" around here now that we have two Heathers 😅. I'm the owner of Blue Collar Cuts and started this business 8 years ago out of an extra bedroom in my house, one month after I gave birth to my one and only child, Levi 👶. I have been grooming for 15 years. Besides working at Subway through Highschool, grooming is all I've done.. starting at corporate, moving to a private shop and then eventually opening my own. In my free time, I enjoy being outside rather it's monster truck shows, geo-caching, finding a new place to hike, going to the lake, doing yard work, riding ATVs around or going on side-by-side rides with family or just soaking up the sun on the deck ☀️. I have two animals currently and I like to name my pets after characters from my favorite shows and movies. Rousseau is my Briard, named after Danielle Rousseau from the TV series Lost. Nell is my Tortie cat I adopted from the shelter, named after Nell Campbell from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I enjoy cooking new recipes for my family and the last year and a half I've become kind of obsessed with making everything from scratch, I even mill my own flour now! 🍽

Beef Jerky!

2. What is your favorite animal?
Dog

3. What do you like to do in your free time?
Hiking, riding 4-wheelers or just relaxing on the porch

4. What is your favorite tv show or movie?
TV show: LOST!
Movie: probably Tombstone or the Marvel/Avengers series

5. Would you rather groom a tiny wiggly puppy or a giant hairy dog?
A giant hairy dog, dramatic makeovers are so satisfying

6. What is your favorite dog breed?
Boxer

7. How many pets do you have?

8. What is your specialty at work?
My "dog whisperer" abilities to complete difficult dogs

9. If you could talk to dogs or cats which would you choose and why?
Dogs definitely since I groom them all day

Meet the Groomer Monday 🐾 ✨️

Hello, My name is Ashley I’ve been with Blue Collar since September 2024, grooming total for 4-5 years. I have three children: two girls 15 and 8 years old, and a 1 year old little boy. We have one dog Zeppelin and two cats Maui and Reign. The warm weather is my best friend, so I’m excited to be able to get out going on walks, getting projects done around the house, Inside and out. And drive in movies with the family, it’s our favorite! ❤️

I honestly don’t think I have one

Highland Cow

3. What do you like to do in your free time?
Free time? What the heck is that. Hehe.

Tv show would be supernatural, movie anything horror especially Halloween

A giant hairy dog

Frenchie

3. 1 dog, 2 cats

8. What is your specialty at work?
I’m starting to really love neatens and according to the girls my yorkie grooms!

Dogs so I could spill the tea when grooming

Hi, I’m Heather P. I have been with BCC since 2024 and before moving to IN I groomed in WI for 12 years. I have 5 dogs Bing, Murry, Hazel, Koa and Kirby. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family in WI, my husband and dogs. I enjoy kayaking, hiking, spending time with my dogs, reading and my collection of house plants. I feel grateful I have a job I love to do.
