Next rooster round up is next Friday, Friday March 6th drop offs!

Rooster and old laying hen round up!
Ducks, geese, etc all can be included too!

I've got a friend that comes and picks up my extra roosters, some are will be processed some she adds into her flock to maintain diversity.

Happy New Year- of the 🔥 Horse! Brokenstarr Farms has some exciting things planned for these upcoming months!
This year we added a promising young buckling with powerhouse genetics. This years kids will be EXCITING 😍

"Brokenstarrs Victorious Asset"- Registered adult buck who has bred his way out of our program- as we are keeping too many of his daughters!
Asset bucklings available out of Evelyn (Reserve National Champion) ***Sold* and an Evelyn daughter who's sister is doing exceptional in the show ring- taking home Reserve BIS as a dry yearling. ***pending pick up***
These lines are meant to excell in the show ring and in the dairy.
Any one of these bucklings have great genetics to add to a herd. Correct strong udders that max out the milk production.

These gorgeous bucklings are looking for herd sire positions! Strong desRuhigestelle lines- grand dam was Reserve National Champion. These bucklings will bring their strong milk genetics to your farm.

Vaccinated/dewormed/disbudded
Colton oregon but travel to Portland/Salem areas regularly. I've got a coastal trip planned too!

2 days ago we had a bed time panic. While putting away the creatures just before dark I had a yearling doeling lacerate her leg. Small wound but it hit a larger vessel and bled profusely. Multiple tourniquet applications failed to allow for clotting when they timed out. But this stuff was magic! It successfully stopped the bleed once applied- without bleeding through itself so fairly quickly!
So glad husband recently updated the first aid kit and we had this on hand! This wound looks beautiful today with no signs of infection and hoping with all its own platelet therapy it will continue to heal nicely!

I have a few people reach out lately about goat hoof trimming!
Happy to help get sheep/goats trimmed 😃.
I grew up around goats and sheep and currently have a small herd of Saanen dairy goats. I enjoy corrective trimming with long term hoof health being a focus.
