🎉Today our Veterinary Assistant Week highlight is Becca!🎉
Becca's favorite part of veterinary medicine is how rewarding it is to experience the different cases and animals we see each day. So many animals come in scared and not feeling well, but when they improve and their personalities begin to shine through it can feel so rewarding. 🥰 She chose veterinary medicine because she wanted to help out the creatures that can't help themselves.
One of the most rewarding moments she's had at work was when a patient came in for being so painful that the owners couldn't even get him out of the car. Due to the pain, he was trying to bite, but it wasn't out of aggression, it was because he felt so bad. She was able to safely help move him from the vehicle and into the clinic where he was able to get the care that he needed. Ultimately, he needed to get surgery. He made a full recovery and now she gets to see him every time he comes in for check ups as a happy and healthy dog! 🐶 💙
Outside of work, Becca stays busy with hiking, working out, gymnastics, and playing piano. 🎹
Thank you, Becca, for all of the compassion, dedication, and care you bring to our patients every day at CityVet Briargate!✨ Happy Veterinary Assistant Week! ✨
