The work has begun once again in my studio. The heat and tiredness has slowed me down quite a bit but I'm trying to be consistent. Life often happens in between which blows up my schedule and I'm trying to remember that nothing happens without God allowing this to shape me more to be like Him.

For Fiberlicious people:

Tomorrow we will start out in the backyard under the tent while it's still cool. 😍.

Once it gets too warm for us, we'll move inside where it will be cooler!

Please let us know if you need help carrying your wheels, chair, etc. There will be iced tea, cold water, and other goodies to keep us energetic and spinning !

We're looking forward to seeing you in the morning!

I am tracking two great workshops this month at the new Greycliff Fiber Festival!

On Saturday, July 18th, I'll share how to keep your fiber from felting while dyeing in the "Keep Your Scales to Yourself" class.

Then on Sunday, the popular "Gradient Dyeing" workshop will be offered. Learn how 2 colors can make 36 beautiful colors that go together so well.

Check out the event, location, and register at

Ok, let's try this again! (Computers are just plain evil!)

This is a project that my great friend, James Perry, AKA James Perry , is the lead scientist.

And Beneath the Boughs is in its bath!

I've set an ambitious schedule for me today and know that I won't get it all done.

But it will be okay. May your day be blessed!

I'm back in the saddle again with dyeing. Yesterday saw 4 leftovers and today, 2 cookers of Beneath the Boughs. Tomorrow I'll try to do another set of 2. I'm trying to avoid cooking between 5 - 9 PM because our utilities will charge me 4 times as much money per hour.

We're still slowly recovering from the Estes Park Wool Market and Jeff's surgery the day after getting home from the show. I've cut myself some slack in regards to working out this week. I'll aim for Monday.

I've been quiet for quite a while as Jeff and I worked the past month to get the garden ready and fix lots of projects. Not only did we look ahead to the Estes Park Wool Market (teaching and selling), but also to a quiet time of recovery from surgery afterwards.

The picture is from some of the bottles of mixed dyes for complementary colors. My students were aMAZING!

Blessings!
