This one is heartbreaking. When a dog loses their owner, they don’t understand death - all they know is that the person who was their whole world is suddenly gone. The routine, the voice, the warmth, the love… everything disappears, and they’re left waiting, confused and scared.

It’s a reminder that pets depend on us completely. They love us with their entire being, and when we’re gone, they often don’t know what to do next. That’s why it’s so important to make sure our pets are included in our plans - to have someone who will love and care for them if something ever happens to us.

No animal should ever have to face the world alone after losing their person. Love them enough to protect them even when you can’t be there anymore.
