Not axolotl related but…Northern Lights in Colorado!!

11 days post hatch!
They do not pass up a meal - they get that from their daddy 😂
They are growing so fast it seems, or maybe it is because I haven’t raised any for a year and forgot how fast they grow!

These littles are related to our Sweets Clutch from last winter! Anyone who got a copper from that clutch knows they are some nice big and beautiful lotls!

Excited to see how these continue grow!

Hatchlings are 3 days old now! We have melanoids, wilds, coppers and copper melanoids!
Should be ready for homes in December!

“Nirvana” update.
This is my keeper from my Rock Band clutch. On the left is a recent photo just taken and the one on the right is from April. It shows how much Nirvana lightened up after going into a tank.
Not going to lie, I am a bit bummed but Nirvana is still beautiful!

Our water tester, Merlin still takes his job very seriously on tank day 😂
- Sad, but I had to put a large logo on the photo so the 🍆 head scammers that keep stealing pics of my fur children will be less likely to do so.

Lastly, I thank Hazel Run Labradors for this boy every day. He is an amazing companion and ESA and is destined to do great things. If you love labs check them out I highly recommend them ❤️

I am about to have some happy lotls!
Another nice batch of baby Canadian night crawlers just arrived from Bestbait.com

I switched from European nightcrawlers because my worm farm kept getting mites and fruit flies in it.
The Canadians are great because it eliminates this as they are kept in the refrigerator.
I always order the worm food along with my worms.
No more compost- that’s saved for my outdoor bin used for the garden!

I highly recommend these worms!
