We lost two rabbits, a black and a REW, from Licorice & Poseidon's litter. I think this is my first loss from fireworks because they were going off all around my neighborhood until 1am last night...
Also, no kits from Butterscotch. She pulled a little bit of fur so I was hopeful, but I don't think it'll happen. We shall see what happens in the fall!

Butterscotch has started pulling fur! Let's see if she makes a better nest this time in the colony. I'll be going back out to check on her in a little bit... Hopefully the fireworks all around doesn't spook anyone 😰

Well, Butterscotch had 6 kits and they are all DOA. Second strike. I thought that this would be the last litter of Spring 2025, but I put Fudge in her colony. I don't want to keep her over the summer if she's not a good mother, so we'll see what happens next month.
4 kits were in the nest and 2 were pulled out of the nest.
