Dottie, where do I start with this girl. If you have followed my page, you have followed her story. Dottie is a black tortie who was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia which is an underdevelopment of the cerebellum. Due to this, she is a bit wobbly and can be unsteady at times. Most times it's not really noticeable as she has mostly normal motor function. She does well with her paw, eye coordination and does almost everything her siblings do. She can be the instigator, is high energy and loves to play. Where this is most noticeable is with her head tilt. It's gotten better over time but she will look at you with the cutest little tilt that will melt your heart. Your heart will also melt as she flies through the house with her head on full tilt π€£ She can be unsteady jumping off of high places and she regulates this by not getting into high places, most of the time. Her new home will need to understand this and need to make some minor modifications to keep her safe until she figures out her new home. Doris will be evaluated soon by a neurologist to get an update on what her new home can expect but from what I see and other vets have said, she will live a pretty normal life.
This little girl has stolen my heart. She is extremely loyal and loves to be with her humans. She LOVES kisses and will look at you with her little head tilt until you give in and give her those kisses. She also is pretty independent and does great in new situations. She is happy finding a good place to cuddle if the rest of the litter found themselves sleeping in a high place. She loves cuddle sacks and heated beds. Due to her Cerebellar Hypoplasia, her price will be slightly reduced however she still has the same good genetics that her siblings have. She is seriously one of the sweetest and best kittens I have had. I will be very particular on where this little girl goes and please feel free to reach out with any questions you have about her.
