Being an American made company means a lot to us. A lot of decisions go into keeping it that way. We were founded 77 years ago in Colorado Springs and have kept the same principles of American made manufacturing alive. We love this country and on its 249th birthday, we are proud to be an American made company. So go out, celebrate, give this country the birthday it deserves. Happy Independence Day America! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸🇺🇸

We want to wish the man himself of a big happy birthday.

Around 8-9 years ago, I think we had like 5k follows and Mike had like 10k. Ray Allen had the name in the military and police world but not heavy in the training and sport world. I remember seeing a video of Mike, tattoo’d up, in a giant Ray Allen bite suit, just getting hammered by dogs. And I did what any self respecting person would do. Slid right into them DMs. Fast forward, we have come out with multiple collabs together from suits to training equipment and our relationship both as friends and partners has grown to what it is today.

So, Mike, happy birthday to my friend and business partner. What a time we have had and I look forward to the times to come. Cheers my man 🍻

Memorial Day

Today we honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country. We started as a donkey and horse tack shop that made a collar and leash when dogs showed up to Kit Carson in 1947. In 1948 Ray Allen Manufacturing was born. Our roots started with working closely with MWD and we have continued that tradition for many decades that have lead us to today. Through our lifetime we have been honored to work with many soldiers and many that are no longer with us. As an American made company, we honor the sacrifices made in lives so that we can continue our service and mission.

Today wether you are visiting love ones, brother and sisters that have passed, honoring them by celebrating their lives or doing a hard workout to honor them, remember today is about remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live is this great country. Today is about them and keeping their memory alive

Man what a hard one and gut punch. Eris, you were one of the “once in a lifetime” dogs. Billy, our manufacturing manager for 26+ years, has laid to rest his best friend and partner in crime. Eris was not only a good girl, but was pivotal is bring new products to life like the ICON harness. She will be missed dearly.

“A dog will spend its entire life loving you. And you will spend the rest of yours missing them”

It was an honor to know you Eris. You were a damn good dog and we will all miss you terribly.

Today we say goodbye to our friend, a hero, and one of the best good boys out there. Those of us that are fortunate enough to know what unconditional love and caring for your partner that has given it’s all, know the pain of the inevitable. I would give up years of my life to have years added to theirs.

Hurricane was not only a baddass, amazing secret service dog and led to the amazing heroes that does so much for the k9 community, hurricane had this uncanny ability to read people. Even in his old age he knew I was the decoy. The guy to bite. And then he would sniff my wife and crawl into her lap for pets. Rest easy hurricane. You were a damn good boy

2024 has been a year. The next year I would love to see the community we all love come together. Learn from the people you love, training for the love of it and most importantly, do it with your dog. Do it for the betterment of our community and for the dogs we love. We all started for that reason. For the dog. Let’s get back to that
