One of the most common challenges in progressing to a full bicep or triceps bite is maintaining the dog’s confidence and commitment. This bite sleeve solves that by providing a familiar wedge-style bite surface in a new context.

A strategically placed foam bite bar mimics the feel of a traditional puppy wedge, giving the dog an immediate sense of familiarity and success when transitioning to upper-arm targeting. Another product that has been asked for a lot. Foam balls with handle. We found these balls and had them tested for durability and the handles and dogs have loved them. They come with a grippy biothane handle and are a great reward toy. One thing I really like is how light they are. Typically a ball this size weighs a lot is carrying it around is a pain. But this ball covers all the bases. You and your dog will love it

Rader K9 Push Pillow: Advanced Bite Development Tool

The Rader K9 Push Pillow is engineered to support progressive canine bite training, offering two distinct levels tailored to different stages of development:

Level One features a soft leather exterior and a less dense core within the bite zone, ideal for early-stage development. It includes a Blast Hose on the reverse side, providing a larger bite surface—though without the internal dowel rod, making it more forgiving and easier to compress.
Level Two incorporates a hardened leather surface and an ultra-dense interior, offering increased resistance for more advanced training. Additionally, its Blast Hose side includes a reinforced dowel rod, making it significantly more difficult to compress—perfect for building strength and endurance.
Purpose-Built for Bite Progression

As dogs advance through the stages of bite development, the diameter of bite targets naturally increases, rarely returning to thinner objects. This progression, while necessary, can lead to underutilization of certain muscle groups—particularly those activated during deep molar bites.

The Rader K9 Push Pillow addresses this by encouraging rear molar engagement on its leather side, which is intentionally narrow and resistant. Achieving a deep, firm molar bite not only activates critical jaw muscles—it also helps calm and focus the canine, channeling drive into controlled intensity.

Once a solid molar bite is established, the trainer can flip the pillow to the Blast Hose side. This transition challenges the dog with a larger surface while maintaining molar engagement—eliminating the need to introduce a second bite object and preserving continuity in training.

Introducing the Push Pillow A breakthrough collaboration between Ray Allen Manufacturing and Rader K9, designed to solve key bite development challenges faced by K9 teams across the industry.
After years of working alongside Military and Law Enforcement agencies, Ben Rader identified three recurring obstacles:
1. No decoy? No problem. Many handlers lacked access to trained decoys, limiting their ability to build bite mechanics. The Push Pillow eliminates that barrier—allowing handlers to train solo while reinforcing bite fundamentals and strengthening the Handler/K9 bond.
2. Bite progression breakdown. Standard K9 bite development typically begins with thin objects and gradually progresses to thicker ones. But many training programs fail to revisit thin targets, which require full compression and deep engagement. This oversight can lead to underdeveloped molar strength and muscle atrophy. The Push Pillow reintroduces that critical thin-object challenge, driving power back to the molars and promoting a full-mouth, high-pressure bite.
3. Elevated stress and poor release behavior. Dogs that bite frontally often pull on the object, exhibiting higher stress levels and difficulty releasing. In contrast, dogs trained to deliver a full-mouth, even compression bite show calmer behavior and cleaner releases. The Push Pillow promotes a pushing motion and deep molar engagement—reducing stress and reinforcing a reliable out.
