Paddy has been part of the Golden Leash Pet Care crew for years, and it has been such a joy watching him grow, play, and share his big personality with our team. From neighborhood strolls to endless belly rubs and plenty of cuddles, Paddy has always been one of those dogs who brightens everyone’s day the moment he arrives.

Sweet Dunkin is moving away, and we are going to miss this handsome boy SO much. From his happy face at every visit to being the best part of our walkers’ days, Dunkin has truly been one of the Golden Leash family.

Mikayla couldn’t let him leave without one last spoil session, so she loaded him up with goodbye treats and toys because obviously moving is hard work when you’re this loved 🦴🐾

This month’s spotlight goes to the beautiful, goofy, and lovable Taco! 💛

When Taco first started with Golden Leash, she was very shy and cautious around new people. Over time, with patience, trust, and lots of love from our team, she slowly came out of her shell. Watching her transform into the affectionate, wiggly girl she is today has been incredibly rewarding for all of us. Whether she’s exploring the neighborhood, playing with toys in the backyard, or cuddling up for pets on the couch, Taco has a way of making everyone’s day brighter. ✨

Here’s a little interview with Taco’s Mom, Annie! 🐶

🐾 How long have you been working with Golden Leash and what do you love most about it?!
“I’ve used Golden Leash for daily walks practically since they opened. At first, my reactive dog would only allow Abby to walk her. Slowly we introduced new walkers and they took their time with her and built trust. Now, anyone can come over for a walk and Taco will meet them with wiggles and kisses. Golden Leash has truly helped her come out of her shell and be comfortable meeting new people.” 💛

🐾 If your pet could talk, what is the first thing you think they’d say?
“Come play outside with me!” 🌿☀️

🐾 Which celebrity matches your pet’s personality?
“Scarlett Johansson — she’s smart, independent, fiercely protective, and reserved around anyone not in her inner circle. She’s beautiful too!” ✨

🐾 If you had to describe your pet in three words, what would they be?
“Goofy, opinionated, affectionate 🥹”

“The dog I chose for Dog of the Month would have to be Taco! Taco was very shy when I first met her, but after a few visits, she slowly came out of her shell and showed me how sweet and loving she really is. Whether we’re going on walks around the neighborhood, playing with her toys in the backyard, or cuddling on the couch while she gets pets, she always makes my day better. Watching her grow more comfortable and affectionate over time has been so rewarding, and I’m so happy I’ve gotten to bond with her!” 💕

I enjoy working at GLPC because I genuinely love being around the dogs and getting to know all of their personalities.
