Because her owner cared, Bonnie was surrendered to our shelter where she will receive all cares, veterinary and training evaluations, and safety. She could have easily been taken to an auction where she could have been easy pickings for a killbuyer.

Surcingle Sadness!

Diamond and Yoshi are out to prove themselves while we welcome new arrivals and say our goodbyes to others. Can you believe it?!?!

Eliza was able to get the halter off of Romeo that’s been stuck in front of his ears, twisted, and too tight! Poor boy was getting sores from the pressure of the halter. Well, no more! While we will put it back on him, a few days with no halter to let those wounds heal will do him wonders!

He handled it very well and is likely more than thankful it is no longer squeezing his head!

THE AUCTION HOUSE HAS KICKED US OUT!

Cindy will explain it all here in this video and even though we cannot attend the sale anymore, that will not stop us from our mission! We appreciate all of you who have already donated and will be holding your donations for the next auction. Thank you again to everyone who has donated and shared our posts. Would you give $5 to save a life?

Last month we attended the auction and because of all of you, at least 4 of the horses in this photo found safety at our Shelter. The pen was packed. The horses were terrified and hungry. They had no idea where they were or what was happening. But now, thanks to all of you, they are here with all the food they can eat and they are learning to trust. Let down by humans, they now have a second chance.

Tomorrow we go to the auction again. We do not know how many horses will be there, but we know there will be horses in need of help. We will be there to help as many as we are able, but we need your help to do so. Even just $5 from several adds up fast and saves lives. Please. Give Now. Help us give them the second chance they all deserve.

This has been a very difficult decision to make. With at least 13 owner surrenders expected in the next few days, we had to really weigh whether or not we could responsibly attend the auction on Monday. And while it is relatively risky, we have decided that we will. It happens sometimes that we are ready and expecting an owner surrender and at the last minute, they are able to rehome their horse, decide to keep them, or we just simply never hear from them again.

With that in mind, we feel we would be negligent to not be at the auction to try to help as many in need as possible as it is a FOR SURE that there will be those in need. If all the surrenders come in anyway and we do save some at the auction, we feel confident that our amazing staff and volunteers can handle their care and that we can count on you, our supporters, to help with everything they need.

Therefore, we will be heading to the auction this Monday and as always, we will need your help to help get as many beautiful souls out of harms way as possible. Every $5 adds up and every share helps reach others that can help. It takes a village to provide safety to these amazing creatures and we call upon our village now for help. Please. Give Now.
