The auction is tomorrow! There are at least 800 horses signed up and as always, more will come once we arrive. The loose horses are the most at risk of being sold for slaughter. With no one there to represent them. No one there to show people how amazing they are. No one there to speak for them and be their voice. But, we are. The killbuyers will see these horses and they will see dollar signs. But, with your help, we will get them to safety and allow them to have a voice. To tell us about themselves. Show us what they've been through. And we will show them that people can be good. And that we will fight for them until the very end. These horses don't deserve to be where they are. We received a phone call at about 1pm today from a woman in need of an emergency surrender. The current owner was not going to be able to reside at her home anymore, was out of food, and winter is coming so her daughter reached out to the humane society who then contacted us. She asked if we could take him today when we called her, so we hopped in the truck and trailer and off we went!

We are now safely back at our shelter with Petrie! They did not have the funds to cover the fee's but per usual, we never turn an animal in need away. We are asking for your help to donate even just $1 towards this handsome guys cares and evaluations! He is safe at our shelter and will see our vet in just a few days.

No amount is ever too small!
