We are seeking donations for our sled dogs! They each have their own vet costs that we are needing monitory donations. We are closing on the sale of our building today. Many animals were found new loving homes and saved from bad homes. We are closing this chapter and ready to open a new one. We are still looking for a new location (building) to open a shelter still looking for ideas!:) let us know.

Don't forget Star of the North Humane Society offers low cost spay and neuter for dog and cats if you are on public assistance in Itasca county you qualify for a waved surgical fee for cats ONLY all you have to pay is the shots!:)

Since the closing of our doors in April we have been looking for a new building to start a new beginning for SNHS Itasca County needs a shelter for our neglected, stray, rescued, & surrendered animals. If you or anyone you know could help us in anyway it would be much appreciated! Also tell your friends and family to "like" our page. We want our community to stay updated with us & to know we are still here!:)
