Take a look at our available pups! They all need their forever homes. This is a tough time of year with the heat beginning to rise. We do our best with fans but sometimes that doesn’t help. Please take a look & consider adopting from us!

🚨 FAMILY OF 5 FOUND ROAMING 🚨

This momma, dad, and their 3 puppies have been spotted roaming together. They are not very socialized and are understandably nervous and cautious around people, but they still deserve safety and a chance at a better life.

If you are a rescue and would like to help please let us know!

‼️ FOUND DOG ‼️

This sweet older German Shepherd showed up during the last storm and has been hanging around ever since. The kind lady caring for him is calling him “Zeus” for now, but we know someone out there may be missing him.

He appears friendly, tired, and definitely looks like he belongs to someone. We would love to get him safely back home where he belongs.

If this is your dog or you know who he belongs to, please message us ASAP with proof of ownership. Please share to help us find his family! ❤️🐾
Please private message us if he is yours!

🚨 ATTENTION SAN JACINTO COUNTY TEXAS PET OWNERS 🚨

One thing we hear constantly is:
“Spay and neuter is just too expensive.”

We understand. Times are hard, but we HAVE to start getting ahead of the pet overpopulation crisis affecting our county and shelters across Texas. Every single day shelters are overflowing, rescues are exhausted, and unwanted litters continue to pour in.

The good news? HELP IS AVAILABLE. ❤️

Operation Pets Alive is offering LOW-COST spay & neuter programs for residents in:
🐾 Grimes
🐾 Liberty
🐾 Montgomery
🐾 Polk
🐾 San Jacinto
🐾 Walker
🐾 Waller

PLUS — microchips are included with services!

Spaying and neutering helps:
✔ Reduce unwanted litters
✔ Lower shelter overcrowding
✔ Improve pet behavior
✔ Help pets live healthier lives

If cost is still a concern, PLEASE don’t give up or avoid reaching out. There may still be assistance available to help cover services. We would much rather help you find resources now than see more animals end up abandoned, neglected, or in overcrowded shelters later.

We need to have a hard conversation.

Texas is in the middle of an animal overpopulation crisis, and shelters across the state are overwhelmed. Every day animals continue coming in faster than they can safely leave. Kennels are full. Resources are stretched. Staff and volunteers are doing everything they can but shelters cannot carry this burden alone.

We care deeply about every animal that comes through our doors, but compassion does not create space, funding, homes, or enough hours in the day.

This is where our community matters.

If you have pets, please keep them safely contained. Prevent roaming. Make sure they have identification. And above all please spay and neuter your pets.

Unplanned litters are one of the biggest contributors to what shelters are experiencing today. Many people think, “just one litter” or “someone will take them,” but the reality is there are simply not enough homes for the number of animals being born.

This is not about blame. This is about responsibility and action.

You can help:
🐾 Spay and neuter your pets
🐾 Keep pets secure and prevent roaming
🐾 Microchip and update contact information
🐾 Adopt instead of shop when possible
🐾 Foster, volunteer, donate, and support local shelters and rescues
🐾 Talk to friends and family about responsible pet ownership

We cannot rescue our way out of overpopulation. We cannot adopt our way out of overpopulation.

But together, as a community, we can prevent it.

Please help us help them. Every responsible choice made today means fewer animals suffering tomorrow.

🐾 Meet Minnie 🐾

This precious girl is Minnie, a Maltese believed to be around 1 year old, and she’s ready to find the family she’s been waiting for ❤️

Minnie is extra special….she’s a tripod girl with only 3 legs, but don’t let that fool you… dogs adapt incredibly well and she doesn’t let it define her. She’s still full of love and has so much life ahead of her.

✨ About Minnie:
🐶 Maltese
🎂 Approximately 1 year old
🐾 Tripod pup (3 legs)
💉 Up to date on vaccines
✂️ Spayed
🏡 Ready for adoption

Minnie deserves a family who sees beyond her missing leg and sees the amazing little dog she is. She’s looking for a home filled with patience, kindness, and plenty of cuddles.

If you’ve ever thought about giving a special needs dog a chance, Minnie may just be your perfect match. Please share to help her find her forever home 🐾❤️
Please reach out if interested!
