🐾👨‍⚕️ MEET OUR VET — DR. BALDERAMA! 👨‍⚕️🐾

We’re thrilled to officially introduce Dr. Balderama, our in-house veterinarian who’s been with Big Red’s Barn since we took over the zoo! 🐐🐓🐖

Dr. B now does daily visits to make sure all our animals are living their best, healthiest lives and trust us, they know when he walks in the door! 🩺💙

Here’s a peek into the man behind the stethoscope:

We’ve got two adorable baby piglet sisters visiting Big Red’s Barn for a short stay and we are obsessed. 😍

They’re teeny, squealy, and full of personality! While they’re not here forever, they’ll be hanging out with us for the next couple weeks. Come say hi while they’re still itty bitty!

Today and tomorrow, we’re honoring our first responders. Police, fire, and EMS (plus their families) get in FREE with badge or ID.

10% of all proceeds will be donated to the families affected by the recent Canfield tragedy.
A donation jar will also be available if you’d like to give a little extra love.

Today has shaken our community in a way that’s hard to put into words. The tragedy has left our hearts heavy and our thoughts are with the families and departments mourning unimaginable loss.

At Big Red’s Barn, we believe in the power of connection; between people and with animals. We want to quietly open our doors this Saturday and Sunday (July 5–6) as a place of peace and comfort for our first responders and their families.

Admission will be completely free for all police officers, firefighters, ems and their loved ones. No need to call ahead, just bring your badge, your family and come as you are. Let the animals do what they do best: soften hearts, bring some smiles, and remind us that healing starts with love.

We’ll also be donating 10% of this weekend’s sales directly to the families of the fallen. If you’d like to contribute personally, we’ll have a place at the front desk to do so.

This weekend isn’t about business. It’s about standing with the people who run toward danger when the rest of us run away. It’s about saying thank you the only way we know how; with open arms, furry friends, and a safe place to just be.

At Big Red’s Barn, every kiddo gets to take a book home for free….but our shelves are looking a little baa-re! 🐑
Got gently used children’s books collecting dust? Give them a second life in the hands of a young reader! Drop them off during open hours inside or drop off at the side door under carport and help us keep the magic of reading going strong. Lets fill our book nook to the the brim-one wild tale at a time!🐾❤️
