Cold mornings, warm afternoons, a little more gold in the mountains, and jackets making their way back into the saddle bags!

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀! Mountain weather can change quickly, and what feels pretty chilly when we leave the corrals can turn into a beautiful, warm afternoon on the trail 🐴⛰️

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼 🤎

For 102 years, horses have carried Shoshone Lodge guests through these mountains. Generations of wranglers have saddled up before the day begins, and families have traveled from across the country to experience a piece of the West that still feels the way it should.

A lot has changed since Shoshone welcomed its first guests in 1924...

But out here, the mountains are still the backdrop, horses are still at the heart of what we do, and sharing this way of life is still what brings people to the lodge 🏔️
