Some deem it coincidence… yet anyone who has ever experienced rescue by a dog knows the fact: they show up exactly when your heart needs them most. That’s not luck — that’s love.

Meet Lilo! ❤️ She is a sweet one-year-old who bonds deeply with her people and loves staying close. She enjoys cuddling and is generous with her hugs and kisses. Lilo is also an avid TV watcher and will happily snuggle up on the couch with you for some binge watching.

She can be cautious with new people and needs slow introductions as well as time to adjust. Once she's comfortable, she craves affection. Because she’s sensitive and easily spooked, Lilo does best in a calm, quiet home without small children or lots of visitors. She will also need another dog in the household for companionship and confidence building.

Lilo knows several obedience commands and is a quick learner. She walks well on leash, rides nicely in the car and is cooperative for basic grooming. Lilo must be crated when home alone as she tends to get into mischief. She requires a fenced yard and has no history with cats.
