Since hearing that the Daphne Foundation has decided to discontinue their funding and support I have been feeling very unmotivated.
All of us trappers are very grateful for everything they have done. But I have to admit I feel there are no more options left for stray cats.
We do utilize the county shelter but they are not always a good option.
I have decided that with the Daphne Foundation shutting down and with all of the political/economic uncertainty that I will be taking a step back from trapping. My passion and goals are still there and will continue to work toward that.

Thank you Gina for your donation! I will leave the Amazon wishlist open. All donations will be given to low income feeders.

Please reach out for emergency trapping or pregnant females. I am always willing to take time and take them to the county.

Hoover
is a neutered male at a colony that I am trapping at. A little while ago, he had an injury and I spent $600 of my own money to get him fixed up but he does still have some dental issues. I am so heartbroken handing him over to Hope Adoption Center today. Hoover is such a wonderful boy and I don’t regret spending that money at all. I am grateful that Hope took him in and will cover the rest of his medical expenses. I will truly miss him

After donating food to a couple, the woman got onto me this morning for feeding her outside cats. I was really just trapping this pregnant cat but once I got her I give the unused food to the cats in the area.
Unfortunately this is just how it is. Some people are really nice and grateful and some are not.

King Julian (Ring tail) was recently taken to the vet for what we thought was a broken jaw. Luckily he didn’t have that but a severe case of stomatitis.
Thank you so much to the Daphne Foundation for giving him his second chance. Most of his teeth have been removed. Once he is all healed up and I get the call, he will be moved to a rescue for adoption. He is sweet as can be and has been previously a pet.
It will break my heart to see him go but he deserves a good home 🥰
