2025 Region 3 Regional Championships are a wrap!

Susanne Benne 's student Lauralee Miller rode her 6 year old, Opus One, in Training and First Level Championship classes! Day one, they dealt with some young horse excitement in the show ring, but Lauralee piloted like a pro through those moments. They came out with a 64%. Day two they added some extra warm up time, and Opie was the good boy he is all day, they had a super and mistake free round and came in 9th out of 26 riders, scoring a 65% !

Jana Reich, rode Tina Archer's 12 year Ira, in the open Grand Prix Championships. They had a harmonies test but unfortunately still to many mistakes. This pair has been working hard on more relaxation and harmonie with big time help of Susanne, and they are on the right path! The picture is changing! Unfortunately not yet enough for this show, but on to the next season!

Susannes long time student, Chase DeMarco had a very successful Regionals, riding Diva in the I2, we're they secured the reserved champion spot! And in the Grand Prix they came in 7th. Big Congratulations, now of to Nationals!!! His students did fantastic as well, bringing home a junior Champion, with Avery and her new young horse Prince and Heather bringing home 8th Place in the First level!

Fun and VERY hot show this past weekend for the Half Halt Stables Girls. It was a family affair this time. Only mother and daughters!

Susanne Benne rode Jagger owned by Mary Gleason in his first ever show at 4th level! Winning the first day with a 66% way to go!!
She also rode Heidi Heidi Cave McNamer mare Darlene in her 4th level debute scoring in the middle 60s. This mare has come such a long way!

Hanna Benne rode her own and Tina Archer mare Lila at 4th level as well winning both her classes scoring in the mid 60s. This power couple will soon be in the FEI ring!

Jana Reich rode her own and Alicia Lee 's horse Fritz in his 4th level 3 debute. They had some beautiful moments and super warm ups. But unfortunately he was just to hot and could not quite hold through the whole test, but they still managed to get 60%.
Jana also rode Ira owned by Tina in the Grand Prix with some hige improvements! This pair is getting more and more confident in the level.

Fun and successful show for team half halt in Orlando this past weekend!
Chase DeMarco rode Margaret Sterns 12 year old Mare Diva in the Grand Prix scoring a 60% and 61% way to go! This team is getting stronger every show.
Jana Reich rode Tina Archer 12 year old Gelding Ira in the Grand Prix as well scoring 61% both days, for a 3rd place placing. Also this team continues to get better in this level!
Both Grand Prix riders are now qualified for Reginals! 😍😍🤩🤩
Tina Archer rode her own Brodie in First level winning the class the first day with a 64% way to go Tina.
Lauralee Miller ride her 6 year old Opi in training level and first level. Cleaning up in training level getting high point champion of the show with a 70% wow 🔥🔥🔥 this team is now qualified in training and first level first Reginals!
Kristin L Bakke rode her own, Ganso in 4th level test 1, winning the second day with a 62%!
Aurelia Rose , chases student rode two lovely mares into the first place ribbons this weekend and finished collecting all the scores for her bronze medal. And got the first two scores for her silver medal! Way to go!!!

Half Halt Stables is looking for experienced barn Help / Stable Hand /groom / working student Position
Located in Cocoa

Tuseday 7am to 4pm
Wednesday 7am to 2pm
Thursday 7am to 1pm
Friday 7am to 2pm
Saturday 7am to 4pm

7am is a must some afternoon hours can be moved around.

Chores include:

Cleaning stalls + bedding stalls + feeding horses + Making up hay bags

Tacking and untacking horses
Longing horses potentially walking horses

Living space is available if needed.
