A dream became reality...
The rescue is a long time dream come true of the David & Regina, owners of Hog Heaven who are also retired Pittsburgh, PA police officers. Even though Regina was the first female Harley motorcycle police officer in Pittsburgh, the name Hog Heaven doesn't have anything to do with Harleys. David grew up in Iowa on a farm and felt that going back to the farm would be like living in "Hog Heaven". They are both active in local community activities, including the CART team - County Animal Response Team. Since 1998, the farm has continued to expand in different directions.
