We attended the Putnam County 4H rabbit show yesterday, and I'm proud of my kids. Kyndal was salty due to competition from her brother, but she won best opposite of breed with Crazy Dance. Jeran won best of breed with Eclipse, which we almost didn't bring, but he went on to win Reserve Best in Show 4 class. Jeran was proud of his purple and gold banner.

So, my friend Haley Norton and I are such suckers! Our kids usually only show 4 class smaller breed rabbits, however, this year our kiddos decided they wanted to do meat pens for the first time in their 4H career. We've been MIA in showing our rabbits for the last 5 months due to all the kids sports. However, we made time this NYE to do the Golden Prairie Rabbit show in Lafayette with our good friend Haley Norton. We had such a great time as always. Lots of laughs and great memories were made. There were tons of Hollands and we had such great competition. We did very well with all of our home grown rabbits. Kyndal won Best Opposite of Breed with our Sr. Doe, Crazy Dance!

Our week at the Putnam County 4H fair has came to an end. They let us check out the rabbits early due to the heat. We took 9 Holland Lops to the fair this year. Kyndal won Best of Breed Holland Lop with her Solid Sr. Buck Auggie. Her Broken Jr. Doe Mocha won Best Opposite of Breed. Auggie also had an honorable mention in Best in Show. This was Jeran's first year of showing in 4H. He's not into it like Kyndal but he told me it was a lot of fun and wants to do it again next year. They took home multiple 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
