🧡 Foster Needed! 🧡

Handsome 7 year old Cheddar is in dire need of a foster home in the Fresno/Clovis areas. Cheddar is a goofy happy 10 pound chihuahua who is currently working on weightloss and being the best cuddle buddy on the planet. Cheddar does require a foster home that doesn't have a pool or stairs, and one who will aid him on and off tall places like the bed or couch due to a bad back.

✔️ Potty and p*e pad trained.
✔️ Good with other dogs and cats.
✔️ Crate trained.
✔️ Certified good boy.

All supplies and medical is covered when you are a foster home. All you need is a little room in your home and heart.

🩷 Meet Heidi! 🩷

The cutest, sweetest, and most loving little pup you’ll ever meet!

Meet Heidi the 1 and a half year old, 10 pound, Griffin mix! Heidi is all about her person. She’ll greet you at the door with a wagging tail and the happiest little smile. She’s a world-class cuddler and would love nothing more than to find a family who will let her snuggle up in bed at night. She’s currently being fostered in a home with both large and small dogs, as well as cats. While she gets along just fine with them, she’d much rather spend her time by your side. Heidi thrives on companionship and would make an incredibly loyal and loving best friend.

Heidi is still working on her potty training, so she’ll need a patient and understanding home to help her continue learning. She does use a doggy door and is catching on quickly. She can also be a bit of a picky eater, so if you’re someone who enjoys cooking for your pups, you’ll definitely win her over.

This little girl is more of a homebody and doesn’t mind staying in and enjoying a quiet life. She can be a little cautious when riding in the car, but she’s young and hasn’t had a lot of life experiences yet. With love and gentle encouragement, she’ll gain confidence in no time.

Hershey weighs in at 4.5 lbs and is a friendly and loving companion. Shy and first. Once he knows he is safe, you have a friend for life. He has great house manners and once he knows which door is outside to potty he will go striaght to it . He has been known to dig and take himself
For a walk. So a secured yard is a must and no doggie doors with access to the outside when no one is home.

Hershey prefers another older calmer dog in the home,
Preferably a female. He is a very quite boy loves nothing more than naps and cuddles

Today was going to be her last day.

Yet another senior pet who eneded up in a shelter after the passing of her owners. She laid in her kennel, frail & barely able to walk. She spent her days napping within the chaos, but never hesitated eating her breakfast and dinner.

Today she was marked to be put down in a overflowing shelter.

The thought of her being at a shelter on her last day hurt our heart. A once loved loyal companion now just another forgotten dog at a shelter. We know I can't save them from aging, or turn back the hands of time but we can make what little time this girl has left full of love.

No senior pet deserves to die in a shelter. We have said it time and time again, please make sure your pets have a plan in place if anything happens to you.

Not all dogs are as lucky as this one.

From the shelter, we went straight to the vet. At her first vet visit that confirmed she is hospice. She has a gash on her face from being attacked by another shelter dog, heart failure, and kidney failure. We started on meds and are hopeful. However, when her time comes, she'll be held and loved as she crosses the bridge to be with her family.

It may not be much, but it matters to her.

Meet Rosie 💕

At 12 years young, Rosie is a sweet senior girl looking for a calm, loving home to spend her golden years. Her dream home? One with a peaceful vibe, perhaps with other mellow pups like herself — or she’d be just as happy soaking up all the love as your one and only.

Rosie is a low-key lady who enjoys the simple pleasures: a good nap, a quiet wander around the house, and staying close to her water bowl (sometimes even snoozing beside it). She moves at her own pace — her back end may be a little weaker these days, but she gets around just fine.

Rosie is currently in stage two kidney disease, which means she requires a prescription diet but no medications at this time. She’s a gentle soul who gets along well with other dogs, and has a charming habit of admiring herself in the mirror — it’s honestly adorable.

She’s already spayed, had her bloodwork done, and has had a recent dental, so she’s all set to join a new home.

If you have a soft spot for senior dogs and a quiet corner of your heart and home to share, Rosie might just be the perfect companion. 🐾

Sprinkles is a 6 year old, 3.5 pound Yorkie! This girl is little but mighty! Sprinkles is tiny and requires a home with tiny dog experience. Sprinkles is the perfect combination of playful and cuddly. She would love a home who takes her everywhere with them, and spends a lot of time with her.

Sprinkles is potty trained on a schedule and crate trained. Due to her size she needs a home with no kids or large dogs. Although she gets along with other dogs, she needs a home with other tiny dogs like her, or a only dog home. Sprinkles does have a beautiful long coat that will require regular grooming. Unfortunately upon intake she needed to be shaved due to severe matting.

Meet Tofu 💕

This six-month-old Chihuahua/Doxie mix is ready to find her dream home. She is a tiny little ball of energy. Super fun, loving, and very playful. Tofu gets along well with other dogs. She is a bit mouthy when she plays, so a home with older children would be best. Tofu is doing great with potty training outside at her foster home, but will require her new owner to get her on a schedule as well. Tofu will make a great addition to any family, bringing fun and laughter wherever she goes.
