All training is done through positive reinforcement and rewards-treats, praise and lots of petting and love. I attend training/behavior seminars and workshops multiple times a year to keep up with all the changes in the canine behavior world. I have been looking into helping disabled individuals train their own service dogs. This is a long process and very time consuming not only for me as a trainer but for the dog owner as well.
