🐾 Exciting news! As usual, we’ll be joining Liberty Subaru’s 16th Annual Pet Adoption Day on Saturday, October 11th from 10 AM to 2 PM at 55 Kinderkamack Rd, Emerson, NJ! 🎉

Say hello to the newest addition to our Registry page: the "TNR Cat Special Package"! 🐾 We're so proud of the important work we do through TNR—Trap, Neuter, Release—to care for feral cats in our community. These tough outdoor cats prefer a life away from humans, so instead of adoption, we humanely trap them, provide medical care including spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and testing, and then release them back to their outdoor homes.

Because TNR cats aren’t adoptable, none of the money we spend on their care comes back as adoption fees—all the funds come from kind donations like yours. Every dollar helps prevent overpopulation and disease, keeping our community cats healthy and safe.

OKAY, folks... meet Patty! 🎉 This 2-year-old feisty Havanese is our resident diva who’s been with us a bit longer than expected. Patty needs a calm, quiet home where she can be the queen of the castle—preferably with just one patient human (sorry, no kids!) who’s ready to embrace her strong personality. She’s not a fan of new places or unfamiliar faces (basically a little drama queen), but she does get along with other dogs. So if you’re on a mission to build your own quirky, opinionated pup squad, Patty’s ready to be your top lieutenant! 🐾 Patience and love are required, but the payoff? Endless charm and hilarious Havanese head tilts. Who’s ready to be Patty’s forever patient human? 🙋‍♀️🐶

Nothing makes us happier than receiving updates on animals that we have adopted out... today we are happy to share a photo of sweet Francis! With the help of our supporters, we were able to transform this girl's life! From spending her time lost in the streets after being dumped, to being scooped up by the shelter, to now having a home of her own with more beds, toys, and love than she knows what to do with! Do you have a CLAWS Alumni who is living their happily ever after? We would love to see them!
