Ok I want to explain again what we do. We are a donation only nonprofit. We are not animal control, we don’t write tickets to your neighbor because their dog tore up your trash, we don’t come get animals you don’t want anymore, we don’t take owner surrender’s. We take stray, abandoned and neglected animals. We wish we could take all the unwanted dogs and cats but we can’t we don’t have room and we don’t have the funding.
We are currently caring for 40 dogs, and 21 cats and kittens. We have found homes for 78 animals so far this year. When we say we are full that doesn’t mean we don’t care about your problem or the animal you’re calling about. It means we don’t have anywhere to put them or the means to provide for them. Our phone rings nonstop all day with calls about animals and we do our very best to help as many as we can.
We see some really bad things and we get some tough phone calls. Us and our volunteers go home and don’t sleep at night because we are worried about an animal we couldn’t help that day. So please understand that we really want to help everyone and all the animals but it’s just not possible.
We need people to ADOPT the animals that we have so we can help other animals, please please if you’re thinking of getting a pet come and see us we have some great dogs and cats. AND PLEASE SPAY AND NEUTER you animals. It’s the only way we’re gonna fix the over population crisis.
PLEASE SHARE!!!
