Hi guys, Mags here.
A bit ago I shared the struggles I have been facing both personally and in regard to the rescue.
I want to be very transparent: It is NEVER okay to send death threats to anyone. It is NEVER okay to tell people to k1ll themselves. It is NEVER okay to threaten to r*pe someone. I do my best to let things roll off of my back—but I’m human. I’ve been attacked in person. I’ve had my home broken into. I have had people angry that I would not adopt out to them. I have had those same people turn around and lie about “abusing animals for views.”
I started the rescue because there was a HUGE need in 2020 for neonatal fosters and it snowballed into a full blown 501c3. I’ve seen animals on deaths doorstep trying to fight for their next breath, I’ve seen animals ripped to shreds from a dog fighting ring wondering if I was going to offer kindness, I’ve seen hoarding cases with upper respiratory infections from the sheer amount of ammonia in the air, I’ve seen backyard breeders with f***s caked cages and tiny souls that had given up on freedom, I’ve seen emaciated and mange ridden puppies with eyes begging for help, I’ve seen little ditch treasures that become their new owners whole World, I’ve seen puppies that were sealed up in trash bags and thrown away finally begin to trust in humanity again, I’ve seen dogs that chewed their own legs and feet off to escape inhumane foot traps, I’ve seen rabbits with bot flies riddling their poor bodies, and I’ve had boxes of kittens and puppies with umbilical cords still attached dropped on my front porch. That doesn’t even scratch the surface of the atrocities that I’ve seen, but it’s what I can post without getting flagged.
Did you know that we have spent over $100,000 in medicals at Tram Road Animal Hospital since 2020? Not including the numerous spay/neuter clinics, Caring Hands, Warsaw Animal Hospital AND emergency clinics? In totality we have spent around $147,000.
YOU did that. YOU raised that money.
So, not because I want to, but for my own mental health I’m changing directions. I’m not going to physically intake animals anymore, but I am making it a goal to be a resource for the community to offer spay/neuter vouchers and host vaccine/microchip clinics in the future. I will be working with other rescues to help with placements of sweet creatures.
My biggest hope is that by Christmas we can fundraise enough to pay off the rest of our bill at Tram Road Animal Hospital AND that we finally find a home for Ivy and King. We still need $5,800 for our medical bills. If every follower donated $1 we could pay off everything and still have enough to offer a few spays for the community!

The algorithm likes photo posts, so I wanted to share a few pictures of the babies I’ve gotten to love over the past two years. All of these kiddos have been adopted or placed. Your support allowed them to make their way into my care. If you could drop a kind comment, share to your story or feed, invite people to like the page, or donate it would help tremendously!
