Throughout my experience working with horses, I have undergone significant personal growth and development, which continues to evolve. The objectives, philosophies, and relationships I've formed have transformed over time. Ultimately, this journey is about progression and self-improvement. Key principles guiding my approach include prioritizing the horse's well-being, fostering a deep connection, exercising patience, and acknowledging even the smallest accomplishments with praise. Effective horsemanship is demonstrated by subtle, almost imperceptible cues, and a skilled rider is characterized by their ability to seamlessly communicate with the horse, with the horse's responsiveness being a direct reflection of the rider's skill not the horse’s grace .

Riding in this cold weather and no turn out can be one of the toughest things for the horses this time of the year, I try to tell myself they will be good till proven otherwise 🤪..I always follow the Jan Symons philosophy of horsemanship and be gentle and think in a good way , put the warm up as a priority and now I like to have the horses pay more attention to me by changing things up but yet within the routine, try to keep building without creating boredom…I won’t say this is easy (at least for myself as I like very solid structure) but the smart ones will anticipate..they will know your next move before you ask (love them) …Fred was really nice with good feeling today
