Beef Restocked and This Weekends Sale!
We have restocked on all of our beef which means we finally have more steaks! All of our beef is grass fed and finished on grass with no antibiotics or added hormones. We raise our livestock from birth to harvest, we know exactly what goes into our animals from the moment their hooves hit the ground! We take pride in our high quality, nutrient dense, and tasty meat grown on our family's 6th generation ranch just 30 miles east of Missoula off the Beavertail exit. Our pork is pasture raised with lots of forage, we utilize our pigs, goats, and sheep for restoring pastures and in areas we cannot get equipment to on the ranch. In turn our animals help us restore the land for us, the wildlife around us, and provides our local community with meat that gives you peace of mind and you can feel good eating locally raised meat!
This Saturday we are doing a sale on our pork sausage; hot Italian, regular Italian, breakfast, and ground pork $2 off per pound, then our pork steaks, and ground chevon (goat) are $1 off per pound! Starting this weekend, we have a very limited supply of eggs available and for pre-order only we have lard for cooking and whole chickens.
We have added a new smoked honey to our collection, Pecan! We now have 3 types of smoked honey to give your taste buds an all new experience apple, cherry, and now pecan. Not only does the smoked honey pair amazingly well with our meat selection but also our 100-year-old sourdough! We have dehydrated our family's heirloom sourdough starter to share with you. If you love sourdough and want to make your own getting a very well-established starter is the best way to set yourself up for success on your sourdough journey. Sourdough isn't just for baking bread; you can make any recipe that has flour into a sourdough recipe. For example, you can make a dinner skillet, cookies, corn bread, pasta, cakes, scones, brownies, pie crust, muffins, pizzas, and soooo much more! The skillet is one of my favorites go to recipes its fast, uses one pan, and is customizable to what you have in your fridge/freezer or any type of cuisine you desire.
We will see you this Saturday at the Clark Fork Market 8am-1pm. Our booth is located on the Caras park side by the parking garage and stairwell. Please send in pre-orders before 5pm on Friday to ensure we see them!
