Over the weekend I volunteered with the amazing mobile clinic & helped ~100 dogs recieve an affordable spay/neuter service with vaccines & microchip 💉🐶🏥
It was a busy, awe-inspiring weekend & honor to join a hardworking, skilled team of professional vet medicine women dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation, unwanted litters & hormonal aggression 👩‍⚕️🐕💪
I had my 2 female huskies spayed (updated on parvo/distemper, rabies & chipped) after waiting for their 1st heats to pass, allowing them to reach sexual maturity which was my preference after research 💻🩸🗓
Take Away from home-based Rover dogsitting in 2022 - my biggest challenge involved managing unneutered & unspayed adult dog hormone behavior - humpy dogs, aggression, peeing on everything, you name it 😅 I learned I was one of the only sitters to take 'unfixed' dogs for boarding & daycare in the valley & after awhile I experienced burn out 🔥😔
I am sorry to no longer offer petsitting but I did love getting to know the many wild & wonderful pooches & their loving owners residing in the Grand Valley!! I encourage pet parents to spay & neuter their fur babies after their own research journey with breed specific recommendations 🤗🐕
The Delta Clinic comes back in September & they are always looking for hardworking volunteers to join their team if you're interested in getting involved! 📆💞🏥

1000's of dogs are euthanized in high kill shelters everyday 🥺🐕
The household limit is 5 dogs per home in Mesa County 🙃🏡🐶

🐕❤️‍🔥 Adopt LOLA ❤️‍🔥🐕
The sweetest lil' cuddly brown dog is looking for her person! Lola is ~1 years old. She is a big lover & will make an excellent companion / emotional support animal 💞🐕
Originally a stray mutt / street dog from New Mexico, Lola is now housebroken & listens better everyday with recall (especially with tasty treat positive reinforcement, food motivated pup will be easy to train 😊) 🏜🐕
She is well socialized & friendly with other dogs & LOVES to play. Weighing ~35lbs, Lola is the perfect small-medium adventure buddy size & does great on hikes 🏞🐕
She is vet checked, spayed & up to date on shots. Please share & let's help this shephard mutt cutie find her furever home! 🏡🐕

Saké the Great Dane stayed with us last weekend & was one BIG, playful boy with incredible strength, energy & cuddles 😅🐾🐕 We love him ❤️‍🔥
It was epic to have a giant breed pup gallop through the yard 🐎 & I love learning about different breeds, personalities & best training practices 💯🤠🥰

for lending help with boarding last weekend, super grateful for your expertise 🙏❤
Lastly, it takes a dedicated, committed owner to train & own one of these majestic creatures, props to all the Great Dane owners out there 💪🐕💞

Once a yellow 💛🌽 field there now grows a green, grassy meadow of reeds, alfalfa & red clover flowers to frolick through. The dogs love it 💞🐕
