Meet River! 💦

This beautiful English mastiff has been taking weekend sessions with Rose’s K9 and has been improving immensely. She started as a very fearful pup being difficult to walk even around the neighborhood but with a lot of patience here we are taking a ride to the park.

I consistently hear stories about food aggression and some people I know I can’t even go near their dogs when they’re eating because they’ll grow or bite.

Even if it’s a step by step procedure start small. Food aggression can be the start to other issues if not handled right out the gate. I haven’t tested Rocky’s buttons to the fullest degree since it hasn’t even been a year of adopting him. So I tried basic petting today while he was eating dinner, as you can see he’s just a love bug and gets excited when he gets pets so I’m not too worried for future challenges. 👏🏽🫶🏽
