Our goal is to develop wild looking Bengal cats that
are full of energy and affection. At the same time we
want to insure that our cats emulate the desired traits
as found in the breed standard. At Angelicbengals we do not cage our
cats, they have full range of the house and constant interaction with the family. The process of breeding Bengal kittens starts with the first three "foundation" filial
generations (F1-F3). An F1 (first filial) Bengal Cat has an Asian Leopard Cat (ALC) parent. An F2 is the result of an F1 breeding with a domestic male. An F3 kitten is the
result of domestic cat and an F2 female. Stud Book
Tradition (SBT) Bengals are F4s, which would be an
F3 mating with a domestic. These cats are four
generations, or more, removed from the ALC and can be registered and shown. Our little "pocket leopards" are guaranteed to be pure bred Bengal cat's that come from champion blood lines, are in great health, and have sweet dispositions with playful personalities
and have been featured in "Palo de Gato", a
Portuguese version of "Cat Fancy". For more
information on Bengals please see the short
video, on our cattery page, from Animal Planets
"Cats 101". If you have any questions please contact us. e-mail: [email protected]
