14 year old BLACK QH Gelding. Lost papers/Grade.
If your looking for a BIG gentle horse, then you in luck with this one. “JJ” is safe for anybody to ride, sound, no vices or bad habits.
We are very particular on the kind of stock we keep in the barn and this pretty boy has it all.
He’s a great insurance policy in other words.
JJ has been giving kids riding lessons for about 2 years, he is a retired “pick up horse” from Rodeo( the horse that works the hardest in the rodeo that picks up all the cowboys off broncs and bulls, for those of you who didn’t know what a pick up horse is).
JJ also loves cows, he lives tracking them...
He has been an awesome Pony horse escorting racehorses on the racetrack and travelled to several tracks to keep jockeys safe on their racehorses, he has done Mounted Patrol by me, not to mention all the miles and hours under saddle we have rode on him. He ground ties, stands great for the farrier, loads, bathed and is independent in the pasture, “there is no buddy sour” in this horse, yet he is gentle in the pasture, easy to catch but just a loner towards other horses in the field. Him and our other geldings get along very good though. Like I said, we haven’t found anything this horse isn’t good at.
He’s big, over 1,500 pounds and about 16.3 hands. He’s been worked lightly out of a roping box and pasture ropes. It is extremely hard to find a horse like this and he is only 14. We are selling only due to the fact we don’t have the time anymore to have as many horses as we do especially with a breeding buisness. He would be a waste to just get fat in the pasture or just the few lessons he does. A horse like this loves having a job. Good home only. No I do not have videos, I guarantee the horse. People are giving a lot more than what we are asking for him for a lot less horse, this horse is fool proof.
