Day 3: Missing 14 Year Old Gideon Andrew Ferguson.

Today marks Day 3 of the search for missing 14-year-old Gideon Ferguson. At this time, there are no significant new developments to report beyond the continued expansion of search efforts. Resources from across the state are currently deployed in Iredell County to assist with the ground search.

Assets from Burke County and Nash County are on scene, along with assistance from surrounding counties including Davie, Rowan and Cabarrus.

As previously reported, the FBI is involved and continues to utilize its investigative tools, including access to media platforms, gaming systems, and potentially cellular data.

We can also confirm that Gideon changed clothing prior to his disappearance. Many have asked why a clothing description has not been released. The reason is simple: neither law enforcement nor his parents know what he was wearing at the time he went missing. The clothing he wore to school on Wednesday was located during the early hours of the investigation that same day.

Any additional verified information will be shared as it becomes available. Until then, we ask the community to continue praying for a miracle and for Gideon’s safe return home to his family.
