Wow — what a month!
We had a FULL grooming schedule and busy boarding room all month long! We are so thankful for the wonderful clients who trust us with their babies. ❤️

Summer is filling up FAST! We recently added a few more boarding kennels, which opened up a limited number of reservations. If you’re planning a trip, please text ASAP to get your pup scheduled!

Our grooming schedule is currently booking about two weeks out, so it’s still pretty easy to grab an appointment before summer gets even busier!

Meet the team!

Last but definitely not least — Kristen!

With many years of experience in the bathing and boarding world, Kristen is our newest asset at Phoebe’s Place! While you may not see her much when you walk in, she stays plenty busy behind the scenes.

She makes sure every pup is squeaky clean before heading to the grooming table and gives all of our boarding dogs the love, hugs, and attention they could ask for!

When she’s away from work, she enjoys trail riding, tending to her chickens, and spending time with her kids!

We’re so thankful Kristen chose us to be her work family, and we appreciate everything she does for our team and clients every single day! 🤍

Meet the team!

When Gracie found out she was pregnant with JW, she knew she needed someone she could trust to fill in while she was out. Cally’s daughter had come to Gracie’s horse camp for a few years, so they were already Facebook friends when Gracie saw Cally posting about grooming for friends out of her house. Gracie reached out, and what originally didn’t seem like it would work out ended up becoming the perfect next step for both of them professionally!

Cally is a mom of three — Kendsley, Blair, and Jutt — and makes the long drive every single day from Westminster, SC. Tell us you love us without telling us!

When she isn’t at the salon, she’s running between ball fields and courts with her kids, taking them to horse shows, or spending time with her family.

She’s truly one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and she loves her people hard. She appreciates everyone for exactly who they are, and we are so lucky to have her here at Phoebe’s Place!

Meet the Team – Melanie 🐾

Melanie crossed paths with Gracie through barrel horses shortly after Gracie opened the salon. With 10+ years of grooming experience, she stepped in and helped Gracie grow, learn, and sharpen her skills in the trade.

When she’s not at work, you can find her spending time with her two chihuahuas, horses, and chickens… and if you need farm-fresh eggs, she’s your girl! 🥚🐔

Melanie is also a proud mom—her son Tom is serving in the Navy, and her daughter Carmyn is graduating this year!

To Gracie, Melanie has been so much more than a coworker—she’s been a listening ear, a voice of wisdom, and an incredible role model. We love her dearly and probably don’t tell her nearly enough how much she means to us. ❤️

Meet the Staff 🩷

Phoebe’s Place is proudly owned by Gracie, whose dream of working with animals quickly turned into reality when the right doors opened and she was given the opportunity to groom.

It didn’t take long for her to realize she was built more for entrepreneur life than employee life… and wow, what a journey it’s been! 😜

With a house full of dogs, horses, and plenty of other animals, Gracie feels right at home at work—literally.

She’s also the proud mama to JW, who’s about to turn 2, and she’s excitedly awaiting the arrival of her baby girl this October—making this season of life extra sweet.

When she’s not at work, you’ll probably find her at a roping with her family, doing what she loves most.

She’s known for choosing restaurants by the dessert menu, online shopping to feed her shoe addiction, and trying to bring home every homeless pup she meets.

For Gracie, this isn’t just a business—it’s a lifestyle, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
