ISO: PART TIME FARM HELP

We are looking for morning farm help in Chagrin Falls, Ohio!

• Competitive pay, great clients, well behaved horses, friendly staff!

• Part time, 7am-12pm

We are in search of a stable hand to help with our day-to-day activities. This includes (but not limited to) stall cleaning, turning horses out, feedings, sweeping, general barn upkeep. All barn duties are shared - we have 3-4 employees working per day.

Must have reliable transportation and solid horse handling, and you must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Looking for a qualified individual to oversee the boarding side of Fair Weather Farm. Duties include but are not limited to - managing staff, scheduling (employees, vet/farrier appointments, turn out, training, etc), turn out, ordering supplies, upkeep of the arenas and facility, cleaning stalls, minor first aid and most importantly overseeing the 40 horse's well being. This individual needs to be friendly, knowledgeable, calm, patient, flexible, able to communicate effectively between staff, clients, trainers and vendors. Should be a self starter and forward thinking. Willing to train the right person but should have some professional experience in the field.
Hours vary. Must be able to work mornings and Sundays.
Pay will start out hourly, after 90 days and a review there is potential to be put on salary. Housing available to the right individual.

Looking for an honest, hardworking, and efficient, team player! Duties include but are not limited to stall cleaning, turning horses in/out, sweeping, hay, water, keeping barn tidy, barn and yard maintenance.

Requirements:
Have some horse experience.
Lifting up to 50+lbs
Willing to work weekends.
Know how/willing to learn how to drive tractors.
Willing to help with night checks when necessary.
Willing to learn new skills in general.

*Housing MAY be available to the right applicant AFTER trial period.
**Starting rate is $10 an hour based on experience.
***Hours are 6am-3pm with 1 hour for lunch.
