New addition!

Our new "Century Patio" at Duke Farms. The patio is comprised of large 10 lb. bricks that were inadvertently dug up in an oopsie on a neighboring property. contractor. They were foundation bricks from a house that once stood on Duke Farms a loooong time ago.

We took the 70 or so bricks from the turn of the century and made a patio. Some are stamped with "Cleveland Block Co., 1910," and others stamped "Youngstown" and "Newburgh." The bricks all date back to 1910 or so.

It was a weekend project. We found some $10 chairs and used Hammered spray on them to gussy them up. Then added some $9 pillows from a discount store.

The terra cotta pots, purchased for$1 each from the Habitat for Humanity ReStore add to the authenticity of the patio.
