Not much of a gardener, but our Basil is beautiful this summer! 🌱

We're so, so excited to finally share this cool new collab: has pet safe plants at the cafe!
Sixth City Cycles is a fellow Puerto Rican owned business located in Old Brooklyn. They're a super cool concept for people who love the earth: half bicycle shop (right along a bike route) and half plant shop! You've probably seen their lovely plants in other local cafes as well.
Their super kind team helped put together an amazing selection of houseplants that are safe for your furry friends at home to be around too!
We were gonna wait until tomorrow when you can actually come in for our post, but now you all can be as excited as we are! 😻

Hot day? Time for a pool party!
A friend of the cafe noticed that Serefina is always dipping her paws in the cat water fountains and brought this cute pool for her to play with! She loves fishing the toys out, and if you don't reset them quick enough, she'll put them back herself to keep playing!

Can some nerd please come adopt Mikasa and rename her Morgana? It's all I can think of when I see her. (Or keep her name Mikasa if you're more of an anime fan, I guess)
(Bonus points if you've spotted the literal sign of our love for Persona when visiting the cafe.)

TGIF...except Friday is when things get even busier!
Like Grand Teton, we're tired but happy—we've been slammed all week with visitors! Weekends are usually our peak times, so we strongly recommend booking online if you want to see the cats! We're already just about fully booked for this morning and Sunday.
However, as always feel free to drop by for cafe drinks anytime. It's a nice boost for your weekend plans, and still benefits the cats!

Yes yes, we still have kittens, but have you seen BABY CAT??
This 12-year-old lady is the best of both worlds: super tiny and cute, but much more chill than a baby! She is fine with the other cats as long as they're not bullies, and is super affectionate. She's basically the senior version of resident cat Smeagol, but somehow even nicer.
We're looking pretty busy today, so book online! However, you can also apply to adopt online at any time, and we posted a new, long Twitch video of the adoptable cats yesterday!

Mikasa is not sure what to think of our tiny guests today. 😹
Kittens are planned to be here until Sunday. Online reservations are recommended all week for this reason!
(Though my favorite is when people come to visit the kittens and see their crazy energy, then decide to hang with our many awesome older cats instead! They're more our speed too. 😻)
Our commuter cat Smeagol is turning 7 today! To celebrate, we're doing 20% DISCOUNTED DRINKS, so stop by to treat yourself. (And toast to many more years of her cute antics!)
She usually mostly visits on Sundays, but she's also hanging in the cat lounge today, so if you want to snag one of the few remaining spots, book online!

Me in extrovert mode vs me unmasking.
Boots is a semi-cranky middle age man that just wants to vibe and occasionally be social with people that he likes. He has a really cute squawk that he does when you say his name and if you really pet him in a good spot he’ll roll around and start petting himself!
He’s like the pre-evolution of a curmudgeon, and I love him!

Garnett and her bonded sister Garebear have been in and out of the shelter system multiple times due to no fault of their own!
We want to find these shy ladies a home that will be loving, patient, and stable. These food gremlins are slowly getting used to staff and are even thriving in the lounge as long as there are plenty of toys to interact with! They also like other cats!
