Answer: Yes, Johanna. This is certainly Phoebe, the small, terrified blue merle collie rescued from the horrors of the Illinois hoarding situation. NorthEast Ohio Collie Rescue brought her here to find herself in a whole new place, pregnant - and soon after a mother of The Fluffy Five: Stella, Piper, Quincee, Yuki and Izzy.

You were with me when we brought Phoebe to Misty Meadow Farm that first night. I remember her trembling, trying to make herself small so that no one would notice her. This morning, I had the privilege of visiting Phoebe with her collie companion and David and Kathie who look after her. The patience these two have shown with Phoebe and her development is saintly, truly saintly. Phoebe let me pet her and didn't run away. She is as beautiful as ever. Still shy. Loving life as a Canadian. 🇨🇦 We all love you, Phoebe. 🩷 🩷 🩷 Roseann

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of our dear friend and long time member Marilyn Kenzik. Marilyn and her husband Leo have been involved with NEOCR since the beginning. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Leo and the rest of the family.

🐾🐾🐾🐾 MEET CALI! 🐾🐾🐾🐾
Cali is our newest long term foster dog. Cali is a playful, smart and beautiful one year old rough collie born with severe bilateral hip dysplasia; meaning both sides of her hip bones did not form correctly. She will eventually need to undergo hip replacements on each side. NorthEast Ohio Collie Rescue and our wonderful team will be working with Purdue University and her foster family to help give Cali a chance of a long, happy life that is eventually pain free. As Cali works toward her health goals, we want to share with you her journey ❤️❤️‍🩹 Join us in being a part of ❤️❤️‍🩹
