It is with much sadness that I share I had to say goodbye to Maisy today.
We had a great morning and things took a sudden turn.
It was quick, she did not suffer, and it started when she was surrounded by everyone who loves her on her bed.

The vet is confident she had a hemangiosarcoma tumor of the right atria and it burst from the excitement of the morning.
I asked if there was anything I could have done to have found it sooner, despite bi-annual blood tests. She said the only way to have caught it would be monthly echocardiograms which is not realistic.

I ask for extra prayers as my father is taking it extremely hard. His Alzheimer’s diagnosis is making it extra difficult and she had become his daily buddy


She will always be the original 24K Golden Retriever, and forever a Christmas angel. ❤️
