Toyota has confirmed that the next-generation GR Supra, expected to debut around 2027, will be developed entirely in-house—marking the end of its collaboration with BMW. Unlike the current model, which shares its platform and engine with the BMW Z4, the new Supra will feature a Toyota-developed rear-wheel-drive platform and a 2.0-liter turbocharged hybrid engine producing around 400 BHP and 500 Nm of torque.
