A Guiding Light Farming Project

A Guiding Light Farming Project A Guiding Light is a small & artisan style family farm located in the city of Clearlake. The results and flavor speak for themselves!

Practicing sustainable and organic farming, A Guiding Light produces it's own soil, fertilizers, seed crops, produce & even meats, milk and cheeses
ALL HEIRLOOM-NO GMO Our focus is to provide people with a sustainable source for organically grown produce and other goods. We also raise varies meats for our members that buy into shares of the animal and then it is raised on the farm where it can be

seen and processed through a local butcher. Customers from the public seeking meat and other products must sign in or wait until the next batch of animals are processed USDA. Now you have a idea of what we're about-let us tell you about how.....
Our farm is composed of a small cattle herd of , 9 goats,12 rabbits,4 breeding pigs and over 130 laying hens and a small bee colony-this is where it all begins. All plants that are grown onsite are done so in a special blend of our own soil formulated to match the needs of the plant and because it's made up of natural compounds-there's no fear of systemic soil contamination. We also do deliveries for our members and customers throughout the week. Stay tuned to see what new project or animal comes to the farm next!! We thank you for your support

Sometimes I forget that I still have to post and manage this page for my dedicated customers and friends that continue to support and grow with me. While I no longer operate in the same location, I am mproud to say that I’ve been working hard with the other local farms keep sustainable food sources available. Truth is, I rarely stop to film content because I am usually leading most the taks needed to get done. I am currently in the process of buying a chunk of land to develope and by 2026, we will showcase the new location an announce it as part of our new non profit that will be tied to it……I’ve been busy but never stopped. MORE TO COME SOON.
I am going to be teaching processing classes for those that would like to learn how to harvest their own animals, starting the 1st weekend of Sept 2025. Come out learn a new skill and take a bird home for dinner!-Hope to see some of you there!

Working in the soil has always been very grounding for me but when my little guy wants to help-It’s not work anymore, I love teaching him how to care for plants, animals and the secrets I have been taught.

Hey there! It looks like it’s been some time since I’ve reached out from this page, but we’re back! Just got off the phone with my local hatchery and I have an order in for the first set of meat birds for this year. Super excited to be back into the loop of filling freezers and supplying sustainable farming products.
Even mastered the skill of Tissue Culture by way of the godfather Bill Graham.
We will definitely be posting more of our projects this year as we look to come back into the public eye.
Stay tuned!

I know it’s been a while that I’ve been away. Between losing my family and property and starting over and now this whole coronavirus – it seems we’ve all been a little distracted. With all this extra time on our hands I have been setting up more sustainable farm and this is the product I recommend for even the small backyard gardener.
