A very large number of our patients are groomed by Evergreen. We are asking that when possible you send us an email at [email protected] to let us know that you go to Evergreen and need your records sent. I confirmed with them this morning that an emailed version is fine.

With the recent weather we encourage everyone to make an emergency plan.
-Make sure to have ID tags on your pet, if they have a microchip be sure the information is up to date
-Be sure to have a emergency bag for your pet, food, water, a leash or carrier, any medications etc.
-Move animals to shelter immediately, animals are more likely to panic, making a last minute scramble very problematic

Do you know how to keep Toto safe if the winds begin to switch & the house begins to pitch? Tornados can drop in unannounced. It pays to be prepared.

URGENT UPDATE REGARDING THE SAVE THIS LIFE MICROCHIP!!!

We have used the Save This Life microchip for many years now as it was a very well known product used by hundreds of other clinics and rescues. Unfortunately we have discovered that with absolutely no notice this company has closed its doors. The urgent issue for all pet owners is that their database is now unlinked from national databases.

Now for the good news! There are many companies available that will let you register your pet's microchip for free. A few of these will be linked below.

We have staff trickling into to building this AM. Roads are definitely icy in spots, particularly side streets. Our phones don't turn over until 9 am but we are here monitoring messages. No one will be charged any sort of no show fee as long as you contact us to move or cancel your appointment due to the weather today. We will make every attempt to reschedule within a reasonable time to keep everyone safe.
