Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) may sound scary, but cats with this virus often live long and happy lives if given the proper, manageable care. FIV cannot spread to other species and primarily spreads between cats through deep bite wounds or fighting. Due to their weaker immune systems, FIV cats are more susceptible to infections so it's important to keep them indoors and up to date on routine vet visits. They often don't show signs of the virus and can be cuddled, snuggled, and loved like any other cat.
Tommy here is one of our FIV cats. He would be a loyal, loving companion for any family if given the chance!
